Dinner Salad

It's occured to me that especially of late, my blog has become that of a dinner salad. Sure it's nice to look at and occasionally provides some nourishment, but basically it lacks substance. There is no main course, no steak, no prime rib, just some leafy greens, a few slices of carrots, and a little round tomato in the corner.

I don't know exactly why I'm lacking in an entree, it's not that I can't or don't have enough to write about, I am just too lazy to blog, despite my incredible amounts of free time.

I'd promise to change, but we know how my promises are, let's just see what the future holds.

Moment of Silence

I think there are fewer things that can make a parent feel any worse then outliving your child.

I can't really know how exactly this would feel as I have no children myself, but it's always a highly visible pain when you know someone this has happened to.

If Life Was Like Movies

If life was like movies I'd be planning my trip out to the desert to stand outside someone's window with a boombox over my head playing our song until she emerged saying "You had me at hello" and we engaged in a watery hug.

But it's not.

Instead I'll spend my days working, imagining in my head the movie scene as I see it would play out, wishing in my heart it was true. And then go about my daily life, boring as it's become.

Funny how things go sometime.

Show Me Your Tits

It's spring break bitches.

Ok, like it really matters. School holidays, while fun, aren't as much as they're cracked up to be when you still have a normal job but it does provide some relief. I won't even begin to think about the mid-terms that directly follow spring break, or the 6 chapters of Accounting notes that I no longer have, because that would put a damper on a vactionless break.

Like the Corner of My Mind

Misty water colored memories...

Well after I realized I had spent much of my life not taking pictures and having very little physical memories, I bought a digital camera. I hadn't been snapping away as much as I wanted to, but I had taken a few, and of course have posted a few on here.

Unfortunately, my camera got stolen along with some of my school books a lot of other stuff when someone decided they wanted them out of my car.

I have the bestest luck.
